Mocha Chingri

Ingredients:

 

  1. Mocha (Banana flower)
  2. 1 potatoe cut into cubes
  3. Prawns 200 gm(kucho chingri)
  4. 3 bay leaves
  5. 3 small illaichi
  6. 2 cloves
  7. Corrinder powder 2 tsp
  8. 2 tomatoes (medium size)
  9. Ghee 2 tsp
  10. Vegetable oil 2 tsp
  11. Cumin seed 1 tsp
  12. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  13. Ginger 1” piece(make a paste)

Method of cooking Mocha ghanto with chingri:

  1. Clean the chopped florest of  the mocha  and soak it into water with a little bit of turmeric powder.
  2. In a frying pan put the veg oil and heat it.
  3. Now in the hot oil put the bay leaves and all the garam masala one by one.
  4. Add the cubed potatoes and prawns and fry them for some time in medium flame
  5. Add the turmeric powder,corrinder powder,ginger paste,salt and sugar and sauté in high flame.
  6. After that add the soked banana florest
  7. Sprinkle some water and cover the frying pan with a lid till the vegetables are cooked.
  8. Gentle smash the vegetable and pour some deshi ghee in it.
  9. Serve it with steamed rice.
